Commission Guidelines
My goal is to provide you exactly the art piece that you want and I work hard to make them perfect.
Here are some guidelines to help speed along your request: (this helps me determine several things about the commission piece in question)
Remember to include:
Email address: (in case you are like me and check your email before anything else)
What kind of custom you are looking for: (My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, Sculpture, Breyer, Monster High)
Ideas for custom: (reference pictures are very welcome!)
Questions/comments/etc - Also please tell me if there is a deadline involved.
Here is some info about the customs commissions -
~I only will do a few commissions at a time as to not overwhelm myself, and will work down a list by order in which the commission was received. List will be posted on my DA , on my facebook and on here. If I have enough interest, I do have a waiting list as well.
~I accept Paypal payments, and do require a deposit before I begin a piece as to cover costs of supplies and in some cases even the bait. Normally the percentage is 50% but I am willing to work out a payment plan with you - especially on bigger or more complex pieces. Final payment will be due within 7 days of finished commission unless otherwise discussed before finishing the custom. I may be willing to accept other forms of payment such as money orders in certain instances - if this is the case please include this information in the first request.
~I will ship overseas, but please keep in mind the shipping costs from the United States to your location. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs, but I do not overcharge. In the US - I do get insurance everytime. I normally don't charge a shipping supplies charge but on certain occassions I may have to (these are generally very big projects and need an extra box or some type of material I do not keep on hand). I ship via USPS and will ship out within 4 business days of final payment.
~I keep in contact with you in either one of two ways: I will send you work in progress pictures and notes about what is happening with your custom - I also keep an updated work list on my facebook and will tag you (if I know your facebook name) for every post. If you prefer not to have updates please let me know and I can surprise you when it is done. I always provide final photos before I ship the custom to make sure there are no changes to be made. If you see something you want changed during a WIP photo please let me know asap - as it is easier to change it earlier in a piece than later. I may also choose to make a WIP thread about your custom piece.
~I work on customs as a hobby, and it can take some time to finish a custom piece. If you have a deadline, please let me know in advance. Typically it can take 2 to 6 months to finish a piece (though the majority of that time is for more complex pieces). If I give you a time and finish early and you can not pay right away - I will hold until said completion time comes around.
Some things to remember -
~I do reserve the right to refuse commissions. If I feel that the nature of the commission is not
appropriate for me - I will politely tell you no and why and refer you to someone who could do the design justice. Again - my goal is to make a piece that is not only to the best of my ability but something that you will be pleased with for many years to come.
~I will not make rare or htf ponies that are exact copies from Hasbro - I will however do different poses of favorites and
also G2/G3/G4 updated versions of these. I will also do never released ponies including prototypes, mommies, babies and daddies. I will however make FIM characters.
~ All my customs are one of a kind (OOAK) and I will not exactly duplicate an item I've already made. Like above, I will make variations on things I've done before, but I will not exactly reproduce something I've already done. I am always willing to give sisters or brothers to already completed ponies.
~I will *NOT* copy another artists work.
~Please remember I have myriads of projects going on simultaneously- I generally have 30-40 WIPS at one time. If you feel like other projects are being completed before yours - keep this in mind - some of my projects have been in the works for well over 1 year.
Specialties -
